O Dawg knew with his present day manager, Mike Nobes. Sed “O Dawg” Myles began writing and recording music in 2003 while still a student at Montbello High School. Although 2003 marked the launch of his official music career, O Dawg knew long before that his gift and passion for entertaining would eventually lead him down the music path. While attending University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO, O Dawg met music artist and producer D-Rell. D Rell was the first producer to recognize the talent and potential O Dawg processed and subsequently signed him to the newly created music label titled OTB (One of The Best). While working as an artist on OTB, O Dawg re-united with childhood friend K. Swift, from there history was made. Taking on the names “The Franchise & Rookie of the Year”, K-Swift and O Dawg had a mission to create a unique Colorado sound and corner the market. But just as change in life is guaranteed to occur, all good thing must come to an end.
In the summer of 2006, O Dawg seperated himself from OTB. Determined to make it, he started his own team. Building his studio and team from the ground up. Operating under the name Tunring Headz ENT and now linked up with current fellow AMG artist Dedo, they started making a name on the Colorado Music scene as they regularly performed at The Bash nightclub and Herbs Hideout performance venue. O Dawg’s brother LB was also signed to Turning Headz ENT as the labels producer. The camp suffered a minor setback and struggled with production when LB got locked up, but still determined, O Dawg never gave up.
After linking back up with former OTB label mate K. Swift, O Dawg began recording tracks with Slap House Records. Although O Dawg realized there was a disconnect of views between himself and the Slaphouse camp, It was while performing at venues headlined by Slaphouse that O Dawg made a CO connection with one of the most talented young artist in Colorado, Myrical! Soon after, O Dawg and Myrical recorded the hit single “You The 1″ which is to be featured on the “COUNT ME IN” project. After working with Myrical, O Dawg realized they had the same vision. Myrical, already teamed up with AMG artist Kev Kash, was already on the Absolute “ABS GANG” movement. In forming a team of artist and producers that would represent Colorado and put the “Box-State” on the national landscape, Myrical created Absolute Music Group and appointed O Dawg as Co-CEO. Now as an AMG executive, and the support of the AmG camp, O Dawg is one step closer to his dreams. Count Me N-12/31/11, the debut album will be the first mixtape project presented by AMG!
